Today in New York, Nintendo U.S. announced that the Wii U will be launching here on Sunday, November 18th, starting at $299 for the basic. A premium version is available at $349. Here's a break down:

Also announced today, was the Nintendo TVii for the Wii U. Nintendo TVii is a service to watch live TV and streaming video, using the GamePad as the master remote. Video applications include Netflix, Hulu Plus , Amazon Video and TiVo. This service is Free.
The service offers the ability to create multiple profiles. Users can explore TV channels and their favorite programming, which is directly tied to each profile, and share their recommendations with their friends.
Nintendo TVii also includes Twitter, Facebook, IMDB, and Wikipedia integration, and can leverage the information from there to make recommendations.
