Adobe Giving Away Photoshop CS2 For FREE?! Well...

So Tech Media Outlets have been going crazy over the claims that Adobe is giving away its Creative Suite 2 out for FREE! So is this true?  Well, yes and no.  If you visit this website from Adobe, it provides all the download files plus working serial numbers to activate the product.

That's great an all, but how is this possible?  Well, it seems that Adobe stop maintain it's servers that verify serial numbers prior to unlocking and activating the software when a new user installs the CS2 product.  This was intended for existing CS2 users to re download the CS2 they already have licenses to and be able to install it on their PC/MAC w/o having to reactive it.

With that above being said, here is the ultimate conclusion  or at least how others see it.
YES: You can download a working copy of CS2.
NO: That copy does not officially and legitimately belong to you, unless you already have a CS2 license.

So, whether you decide to download and install it is entirely up to you. As always, we aren't advocating you steal or pirate any software.
