I'm sure you've probably heard of RealPlayer or probably previously install it onto your computer back in the days of Windows 95 - XP. It was the media player that was least often used, but most often prefer embedded player for audio and video in the earlier years of the internet. Windows Media Player and QuickTime seemed triumph over RealPlayer. But, atlas, RealPlayer has come a long way since it's earlier versions.
So what makes RealPlayer all of the sudden 'cool'? Well, if you don't already know, RealPlayer comes with some awesome new features. What are they? RealPlayer can play ALL video/music formats, comes with a 'one-click video download' tool, mobile transfer and in-built video converter!

Here's a break down of some of RealPlayer's new features:
One-Click Video Download
You can save and watch your favorite videos from websites, such as YouTube, whenever you want. How? Simply just click the 'Download This Video' button that appears above the current video you are watching and it will download that video automatically to your media Library (Note: RealPlayer automatically downloads video files as .flv which is Flash) Your not limited to just YouTube to download videos. You can visit various video sharing sites or any website that you see a video you like and want to download.
Mobile Transfer
Want to take that video you just downloaded on the go? RealPlayer makes it simple. Just simply connect your mobile device to your computer and simply select the videos or music from RealPlayer and click 'copy to', and RealPlayer will transfer your content and even format them if there is any formatting issues. (Note: RealPlayer may or may not support your mobile device)
This also works vise versa. Have photos, music or videos on your mobile device that you want to transfer to your computer? Simply connect your mobile device or camera via USB to your computer and in your RealPlayer window, an icon of your device will appear. Click on that icon and your media will begin to move to your media folders in your computer.
Video File Converter
So you just downloaded a video from the web, but your mobile device doesn't support that media file? Well, have no fear! RealPlayer comes with a video converter. You can convert those Flash videos to Windows Media file or to a QuickTime file, or many more. Or, maybe you don't want the video, you just want the music from the video? RealPlayer can convert the video file to an audio file so you can take it on the go.
It's simple really. Just go your RealPlayer, select the media fie you want to convert. On the task bar to the left is an option 'Convert to'. A new window will pop-up. Underneath 'Covert to', click on that silver button. There another screen will appear, and from there you will select the media device of your choice of which you want your media to be converted to, so it can be compatible with your device. Or you can select a video/audio format from that drop down menu as well. Then simply hit 'OK' and click the big green 'Start' button and your media will be converted!
So many new, awesome features that RealPlayer v14.0 has to offer. Who knows, this may be your new default media player. Who would of thought that?
