Twilight is bitting more than you think. It was recently reported that a new game on Facebook, that targets Twilight fans, has created a game that spreads malware. The game intentionally promotes the new Breaking Dawn movie that's hitting theaters this Thanksgiving. Users believe this game is promoting the new movie.
Essentially, the user is somehow tricked into clicking on something which leads to a variety of unintended--typically malicious or at least mischievous--actions being executed on behalf of the user without the user's knowledge.
This type of attack is know as 'clickjacking', in which social network cyber-criminals have stolen login credentials. This is when they put fake statuses on your status profile, leading your friends and family to click on your status, in turn, they will too be affected.
So in any case, be alert. When an application on Facebook asks for your permissions, check them. Don't be hesitant to not read what the applications want permissions for.
